First of all, this is an incredibly striking image. It immediately makes me wonder what the story is behind it, but it doesn't give away too much- it has a perfectly wonderful air of mystery to it. Adding a glowing sun or a halo around the skull draws your eye immediately to the most dramatic element of the picture. It is only when you look down from it that you notice the girl on the floor. This slow discovery of the female figure lends the image an air of mystery. Overall this is a very effective composition.

My only criticism of this image is the perspective of the female figure on the floor. The shadow placement makes it look as though her legs are not on the floor, but in the air- very difficult to do in that position and I am guessing it is not what you intended her to be doing. Additionally, there does not appear to be any floor space between her and the deer. Perhaps you could do something with shadows to make it clear that she is in front of the deer.

That said, this is an absolutely beautiful colored etching print, you have a wonderful grasp on both etching and painting techniques. I love the soft colors and unexpected shades throughout the mostly earth-toned painting. Stunning work, I love this!
